We process all the septic, grease, pump station and treatment plant sludge through an aerobic sequence batch reactor system.

This involves a series of aerated tanks that are first used to reduce wastewater contaminants. The pre-treated liquid is then discharged to the local wastewater plant for additional treatment.

Sludge from this process is pressed through a belt filter press and lime stabilized to create what’s known as a “Class B biosolid.” This can be reused as a natural alternative to chemical fertilizer at local farms. And don’t worry, we work closely with each farm to assure correct agronomic loading rates are met for each planned crop.
